讲座内容:
Indigenous Chinese leadership research has attracted significant attention, while there is the necessity to consider a number of cultural and philosophical micro-foundational factors, and to collectively develop appropriate ideas and research actions that could advance our understanding of global leadership with Chinese indigenous characteristics. To better understand the individual, interpersonal, and group-level reactions in indigenous Chinese leadership, we suggest there is a need to incorporate multidisciplinary, multi-level, and cross-cultural models and analyses. I’ll use recent examples from research on leadership and ambiguity, supervisor-subordinate relationship, and leadership in Chinese overseas acquisitions, to illuminate the peculiar Chinese characteristics of global leadership in embracing the West-Meets-East perspective.
讲座人介绍:
刘毅鹏博士, 英国纽卡斯尔大学,商学院,国际管理学教授。多元化创新与跨国并购研究中心,创始主任。担任SSCI期刊Asian Business & Management (Palgrave) 副主编 (1/2018 开始)。研究领域:新兴市场企业国际化战略和跨国并购,高科技创业创新,创业创新生态系统,和国际人才流动。最新编著Entrepreneurship and Talent Management from a Global Perspective: Global Returnees by Edward Elgar (2016)。
